Make Everyday Matter
You can help us Make Everyday Matter when you choose to give on a day that is important to you. Your gift of $1,000 will help fund services on that day.
The special day could be the memory of a loved one, a birthday or an anniversary.
Giving $1,000 to fund a day of services really is quite easy. You pick a day and plan your gift. You can make one payment or four quarterly installments, or you can give monthly. Family members can make a pledge together. (each of you would receive a tax receipt for your share of the donation).
In addition to knowing you are helping provide compassionate services, you qualify for a charitable tax receipt and you will receive an EXCLUSIVE “MADE IN HURON” TOTE BAG, as thanks for your gift.
In Memoriam
A gift in memory of a loved one who dies is a way to honour their memory and help ensure that we are able to continue our mission. When you make a donation in memory of someone, we will notify the family of your gift and you will be sent a tax receipt. Please ensure you provide the name and address of the next of kin when you make your gift.
Host an Event
Many people have hosted their own event to raise funds for our cause. Learn about our 3rd party guidelines and agreement to ensure your event is a success!

Tribute Giving
Many families choose to honour a special event like a birthday, anniversary or wedding by suggesting their guests make a donation to Huron Hospice in lieu of gifts. We will prepare special cards for you to include with your invitation and your friends will receive an income tax receipt and acknowledgement of their gift. With the permission of your guest we will notify you of all of the gifts we receive.
If you are the guest who is invited to a special event where the host has not requested a donation to Hospice, you can still do so by contacting us and have a card prepared, acknowledging your donation.

Make a Donation to Huron Hospice
The journey at the end of life is likely the most difficult one any of us will make. Huron Hospice is known for providing compassionate care for families who are on that difficult journey. We have become a centre of stability in Huron County through home-based palliative care, brief recovery programs, or at the hospice residence. Our doctors, nurses and volunteers help families celebrate a life well-lived.
Services and programs are provided at NO COST to the participants. We are a charitable, non-profit organization and grateful for the generosity of the members of our community and our partner, the Ontario Government, who make this possible. Your generosity enables us to offer ongoing training, enhanced programs, and increased services to ensure that the need in our communities continues to be met. Please consider making a donation to support our work.
“We were able to spend the final days of her life together without having to worry. The nurses and volunteers made sure that we felt comfortable, offered support, and gave us privacy when we wanted to be alone.” – Tim, Huron Resident
